Testimonials

Hello,

The Caregiver’s Rest Conference was an awesome experience! It was so much more than I envisioned and actually provided some much needed respite and therapy. The Conference Facilitator, Janice Williams, and the Health Care Panelists were Phenomenal and covered EVERY aspect of care giving! I not only received a wealth of information about caring for my loved one, but I received some vital information regarding self-care for the caregiver. This Conference started a ‘healing process’ within me and ignited a spirit of rest and relief! As a result, I have learned to stop putting the needs of others before my own needs.

Some of the most important Caregiver Tips I learned at the Conference were:

  • Develop a ‘team’ to help the caregiver
  • Utilize ALL resources available to you – the caregiver
  • Avoid Caregiver Burnout through Supplemental Care and Resources
  • When you make yourself available to care for others, God will give you the strength you need to accomplish everything you NEED to!

I also learned that you are NOT a great caregiver UNLESS you take care of yourself! Mrs. Williams took care of that too, by providing all the caregivers with mini-massages, brow waxing, Blood Pressure Checks, B-12 Shots, Live Music Entertainment, a wonderful lunch and so much more!!!

To sum it up, the Caregiver’s Rest Conference was PRICELESS!!!!

Janice,

I am writing to tell you how much I enjoyed the Caregiver’s Conference that was held at the Senior Center in Olive Branch, Ms.  The information that was provided by your panelist was very informative; the panelist were very knowledgeable and gave some great insight to caregivers.  I came to the conference feeling down and out and I left feeling rejuvenated, energized and feeling like I could take on the world.  The services that you provided were exceptional and I enjoyed every minute of it.  We were greeted by a friendly face as soon as we entered the room.  The food was awesome and the entertainment from Eric Cross was outstanding.  I also enjoyed my complimentary eyebrow wax and body massage.
Thank you for putting on such a much needed event.
May God continue to bless you and your company!!

Sincerely,

Cindy Martin-Bobo

Hello Janice,

I simply wanted to take the time to tell you “thank you”. The Caregiver’s Respite that was held on last Tuesday, Feb. 22, was so beneficial to me. I had questions answered that I’d been trying to seek answers for. I actually made contact with a lady and a man that greatly assisted me in finding out information about my current status as a full-time caregiver of a disabled veteran. Because of this retreat, I was able to spend time receiving a wealth of knowledge and pampering versus being responsible for making sure my Father’s immediate needs were being met. I am so grateful that you are providing this service to those of us who constantly care for others and unfortunately neglect (because of being everything to everybody) ourselves. It is my sincere prayer that God blesses you tremendously because of the vision and the service you’ve provided for me and so many others.
Thanks again,
Mrs. Carla Taylor

Hello Janice!

I just want to let you know how much I enjoyed the Caregiver’s Rest Conference on Feb. 22nd in Olive Branch.

It was a much needed rest for me.  Taking care of my ninety year old mother had started getting to me. I really had to press my way to get there, and was thoroughly surprised at the warm, loving greeting I was given by

one of your staff.  She actually came from behind the sign in table and told me “God told her to give me a hug and that help was on the way!  I received  it then, not knowing it was going to happen so soon!  You just don’t know how enlightened, empowered, and rejuvenated  I felt when I left.  He really sent help to me that day!

After hearing the panelists  tell about the services they offer, sharing  with other caregivers, enjoying the delicious lunch and entertainment, getting my blood pressure checked, the five minute massage, eyebrow wax, receiving gifts, and literature I can use and share with others, I knew God intended for me to be there!

The one thing I will always remember was your statement  “you are not a great caregiver unless you care for yourself!”   That same night I pampered myself using the Bubble Bistro Body products I received.  I thank God for my friend, Nan, who invited me and also thank him for giving you the vision for these conferences.  I will be praying for you and your wonderful staff  to continue informing, sharing and caring for caregivers.  Looking forward to attending the next one and inviting other caregivers!

Know that “HE’S ABLE”, I do!  Ephesians 3:20.

God Bless,

Regenia Lee

PS:  I will definitely be patronizing some of your vendors, especially Bubble Bistro, B’Polished Salon and Touch of Relaxation!

The Caregiver’s Rest  Conference held November 7, 2019 at Saint  Francis Longinotti  Auditorium, Memphis, Tenn. was  an   excellent event.  Caregivers were provided with valuable resources to care for their families. I have attended many of  the rest conferences.  The conferences  never disappoint, are always informative and equips me with resources to continue to effectively care for my family.  I have reached out to two of the sponsors at the workshop. Mobility Health Care that will send a nurse to  the home and coordinate health  care  needs. I have talked with Your Peace Mani-Pedi, a spa manicure and  pedicure service that will come into your home. It has become increasingly difficult to transport my parents to and from doctor’s appts, (podiatry and dentist appts). I am grateful for all the  information shared with me at these workshops.
