National Caregiver’s Month
Happy National Caregiver’s Month! We started out with care boxes for our family caregivers. The boxes were designed to go along with the conference. It included a lot of goodies and also resources to make the day more meaningful. This was our method of shifting. We realized that we could no longer do like we used to. Hopefully this addition will add some added comfort, visual stimulation, togetherness, and joy as we adapt to not being in the same room.
We want to send a very special thank you to Dedicated Senior Medical Center for hosting the box pick up. Over 50 boxes were picked up and distributed in time for the conference. People were ready and motivated to learn more and experience a day of rest.
Also, Breion Dixon of the Tennessee Respite Coalition was able to join us in Memphis to personally meet and greet and invite our caregivers to learn more about their Respite Voucher Program.

Shaneka Lopez, Tim Flesner, and Kendra Curry were awarded our 2021 Caregiver of the Year honors!
